Northern Lights-Skunk-ChemDog x Super Silver haze. Northern Lights, Skunk and Haze were combined in the 1990s to create the Super Silver Haze, so this re-combination is essentially the original Super Silver Haze but with Chemdog as an added genetic injection, providing a small portion of indica influence.
Sativa dominant, this plant, when grown in Hawaii, has shown to produce frosty buds with elevating effects. This is a Historic strain; early in the phase of professional strain development/Cannabis Cup phase of history.
Skunk was the very first Cannabis Cup winner, in 1988; from 1988 until 1993 the Cup winners were comprised of one or more of the components of what we now call Northern Haze. In 1998 AND 1999 the Super Silver Haze won first-place in the Cannabis Cup.
2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2011 Cup winners featured Haze, a component of this Northern Haze cultivar.
